We are now urgently looking for a Financial Manager on behalf of our client.

Your responsibilities

Do you want to take a leading role in financial reporting in an international and publicly traded environment? We are now looking for an experienced and analytical Financial Manager who wants to help develop and ensure the quality of our financial reporting and processes.

About the role

As a Senior Financial Controller, you will have overall responsibility for monthly closings, reporting, and financial follow-up. You will work in an international context with high demands for quality, structure, and delivery precision.

Your tasks will include:

• Responsible for and coordinating monthly closings in SAP and reporting in the group’s consolidation system (AARO), including associated SOX controls
• Review and analyze monthly financial reporting
• Proactively follow up and monitor liquidity levels
• Contribute to the preparation of the group’s annual report and quarterly reports according to SEC requirements in the USA
• Lead the work with local legal closings and annual reports, including coordination with external auditors
• Participate in monitoring loan covenants in close collaboration with Treasury and Financial Services
• Drive and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and quality
• Lead the transfer of accounting tasks to the Shared Service Center

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is structured, analytical, and confident in their accounting skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and have experience from international and preferably publicly traded companies.

We expect you to have:

• University degree in economics/finance
• At least 5–10 years of relevant experience from qualified work in an accounting or finance department
• Very good knowledge of K3
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4
• Experience with the consolidation tool AARO is a plus
• Experience leading teams under time pressure and delivering according to tight reporting deadlines
• Broad knowledge of accounting and financial management in an international environment
• Good understanding of IFRS and SOX
• Experience with covenant monitoring and liquidity oversight
• Very good ability to express yourself in spoken and written English
